Misha's Blog

Aprima's first-born and little princess.

A girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do.

I’m a happy camper! Thanks to Cik Dhiah for the lovely crown and dearest daddy for the huge huggable Hello Kitty! <3

Loads of homework to prep myself for Primary 1.

Welcome 2011. I am now in class K2A. It doesn’t really bother me that I’m the smallest in class cos I’m a grown girl now. It won’t be long till I’ll be in Primary 1 :)

N2 Class Photo

From demure-looking in my class photo last year, to all gangsta-looking in this year’s.

Part fairy. Part Mermaid.

Promoted to Kinder

I will officially be in Kindergarten 1 starting this week. Woots! Now that I’m old(er) I hope Mom permit me to use her range of cosmetics! Just so you know, I’m already a proud owner of her cats-eye mascara just because she said it made her lashes look clumpy. Whatever.

Anyway, I look forward to the start of the week (i.e tomorrow, since today is center closure due to spring-cleaning) because it’s the start of my 3-day adventure camp for Speech and Drama.

Speaking of which, did I mention I love acting? I was casted as a ‘Yellow Fish’ in a small play, Rainbow Fish and the Big Blue Whale, a story by Marcus Pfister Herbert. It’s about a Rainbow Fish and a group of friends living in their shoal happily until a big blue whale comes to live close by which makes them unhappy and hungry.

Melayu boleh!

Mom insists on having a few minutes of Malay lesson with her everyday. She will teach me some basic Malay words (beginning with body parts), and kept repeating these words over and over until I memerise them, all that in a course of a week. At the same time, she’s starting to teach me arabic alphabets too. Pening kepala y’know! But I can do it!

My mom took pride in my little achievement by snapping a dozen of pictures of this. Gotta work on my handwriting next.

Our little antics at home.

I love to play at the playslide with my brother, despite the falls we had due to each other’s pushing.

I hope dad won’t give it away as he said he would. I’m sure mom would agree too.

This morning we talked about flowers in class. Here’s what my teacher wrote on my comm book to update my parents about our “floral” activity.

This morning we talked about flowers. Misha was quiet at first but after encouraging her to speak up, she did. The children were asked where they can find flowers. Misha said, “Outside there!” and pointed out the window.

The children then talked about the flower they had brought. These are the exact words Misha said: “My flower is pink. Flower smell nice. Buy at the shop.” And then she gave a wide smile.

Misha did a great job. She is confident when she speaks. Well done, Misha!”

I hope Mom & Dad are as proud too!

Sorry.

I think Mom is very upset with me! =( I know I shouldn’t have been rude to her earlier. Now she’s ignoring all my pleas.

I’m sorry, Mom! *sniff*

Here’s me singing to Spongbob Squarepants theme song. I was told I was about 17 to 18 months old at the time. It appears my ‘melodious tune’ made my parents burst out with laughter! Glad to entertain.

Welcome, Mismyra!

This is my very first post on my very first blog. My mom insists that I have a page of my own where I can record down and reflect on my day to day activities. If you’re wondering about my nick, its something my mom has concocted based on my first and second names, with an added twist. Oh well, until my next entry. Toodles!
